The Rotary Club of Park Ridge was chartered in 1961 as an affiliate of
Rotary International, a service organization founded in Chicago in 1905.
The
58-member Park Ridge club serves its community and institutions with
projects and programs; supports Rotary's international efforts for
peace and understanding, improved health services, disaster relief, and
literacy; and promotes fellowship, vocational service and high ethical
standards for club members. The Rotary Club of Park Ridge is one of 72
Rotary Clubs in Rotary District 6440. Park Ridge Rotary has four avenues
which service is performed:
Club Service: to support activities that are essential for the
continued growth and vitality of the Rotary organization.
Vocational Service: to urge and support high ethical standards
in business and professions, and to guide and assist students in possible
career/vocation selection through youth and scholarship programs.

to enhance the quality of life for community residents.
